    SPECIALIZATION: FINANCE, MARKETING, HUMAN RESOURCES AND GENERAL

    INTRODUCTION:

    The postgraduate qualification has been designed to meet the needs of senior/middle managers in the running of their businesses, and to facilitate their progression to high levels within their Organization. Managers need to be aware of issues, able to analyze their potential outcomes and consequences, and decide how to react. They do not have to be expert in all areas of business, but they need to possess a general awareness of what specialist facilities and services exist, and how they can assist in carrying out that role. The programme includes contemporary topics reflecting key issues within the 21st – century business environment as well as the latest developments in management research.

    LEARNING OUTCOMES:

    • To understand and apply the principles of management strategy in a business environment
    • Review and apply the principles of business management within industry
    • To understand and apply the principles of strategic management in a specific environment
    • To improve the employability of learners by allowing them to explore the relationship between management theories and their practical application in the business world.

    UNITS OF STUDY:

    QUALIFICATION

    On completion of the above units, the student will receive a Level 7 Diploma in Business Strategy from Ofqual approved Qualifi, UK.

    The qualification is registered on the Ofqual register and holds 120 credits. (MBA is 180 credits) . The qualification is equivalized on WES.

    PROGRESSION

    Graduates of the Level 7 Diploma in Business Strategy may move into the top-up with complete exemptions into:
    a. Master of Business Administration(MBA) with the North Wales Business School, Glyndwr University Or
    b. International MBA with Rome Business School, Italy
