    Introduction

    The Level 5 Diploma in Business programme is suitable for learners who wish to broaden their management capabilities in the business sector. This is especially useful for students who wish to undertake further education by completing the final year of bachelor’s degree in business from reputed Universities in the UK/USA.

    Learning Outcomes:

    • To understand and apply the principles of leadership in a business environment
    • Review and apply the principles of business management within industry
    • To understand and apply the principles of management in a specific environment
    • To improve the employability of learners by allowing them to explore the relationship between management theories and their practical application in the business world
    • Analyse problem solving techniques specific to business and industry

    Units Of Study

    The following units are compulsory.
    • An introduction to business environment

    • An introdcution to marketing
    • An appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of business and service provision

    • Business communication
    • Recruitment and selection in business 

    Qualification

    On completion of the above units, the student will receive a Level 5 Diploma in Business Management from Ofqual approved Qualifi, UK.
    The qualification is registered on the Ofqual register and holds 240 credits.

    Progression

    Graduates of the Level 5 Diploma in Business Management may opt to move into:
    – Final year top-up degree BA (Hons) in Business with the North Wales Business School, Glyndwr University (UK’s 55th University of the Year 2020)
    –  Top-Up of BBA with Westcliff University, USA
