Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism

The programme provides an introduction to the main facets and operations of organizations. It introduces the challenges faced by modern day businesses in the Hospitality and Tourism sector.

The qualification focuses on developing understanding, skills and abilities to equip the learner with the awareness and aptitudes to be an effective organisational manager and leader.

Students will:

  1. To understand and apply the principles of management in hospitality and tourism.
  2. To improve employability of learners by allowing them to explore the relationship between management theories and their practical application in the business world.
  3. To review and apply the principles of business management within the industry
  • The ability to read and use appropriate literature with a full and critical understanding of the ability to think independently and solve problems
  • Applying subject knowledge and understanding to address familiar and unfamiliar problems
  • Recognizing the moral and ethical issues of business practice and research; appreciating the need for ethical standards and professional codes of conduct
  • An appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of business and service provision
  • Capacity to give a clear and accurate account of a subject, in a mature way and engage in debate and dialogue both with specialists and non-specialists.
  • To develop transferable skills and knowledge which will enable individuals to meet changing
  • To motivate individuals to progress to further professional development through future study or as part of their chosen career.

Accreditation

  • Level 4 and 5 are provided by Qualifi, UK (Approved by Ofqual, UK)
    Final year Bachelor is provided by Paris Graduate School, Paris (approved by Ministry of Education, France)

What will the students receive on graduation
All successful graduates will receive on completion of the Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism:
a) Level 5 Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Qualifi, UK – Ofqual approved
b) Bachelor in Hospitality and Tourism degree from Paris Graduate School, Paris approved by Ministry of Education France.

Progression

Graduates of the Bachelor degree are now ready with the right mix of skills to enter into the workforce or venture into hospitality and tourism. Graduates may apply for further study into internationally accredited Master programs.
